Features/Referral programs

Referrals & credits

Referral programs built for list owners — not customer signup widgets

You already recommend vendors on your Lyst. Join their programs, get a standing code on your public page, and earn credits when friends book.

Direct answer

ReferLyst referral programs reward list owners who send real customers to local businesses. Unlike customer-ambassador tools (share a link, get paid), ReferLyst puts reusable standing codes on your public vendor list — e.g. SARAH-STAGING — so friends mention the code when they call or book. Businesses set the friend perk and redeem codes in their dashboard; you stack credits per business in a wallet and redeem for perks or offline payouts. Intros are still warm handoffs through you; codes are trackable perks for people who book.

01

List owners are the ambassadors

Join offers from businesses you already vouch for. Standing codes auto-appear on vendor cards on your public Lyst — no pasting codes into bios.

02

Codes vs intros — both, clearly

Intro = ask the list owner for a warm handoff. Code = mention a perk when you book. Public vendor cards explain both so visitors know what to tap.

03

Share kit + wallet + business dashboard

Copy, SMS, and WhatsApp snippets for your code. Pro QR opens your list. Businesses edit tiers, see redemptions, and track top referrers.

How it works

List-owner referrals — not customer signup links

You are the ambassador. Your standing code lives on your public Lyst. Intros are warm handoffs through you; referral codes are trackable perks for friends who book.

  1. 1

    Join a program

Browse local businesses in Discover or on a vendor card. Join the ones you want to recommend on your lists.

  2. 2

    Add them to your Lyst

Pick which list promotes the business. Standing codes appear automatically on your public vendor page.

  3. 3

    Share your code

Friends mention your list code when they book. You can also create one-time codes for specific people.

  4. 4

    Earn & redeem credits

When the business marks a code redeemed, credits land in your wallet. Redeem for perks or offline payout.

Frequently asked questions

Is this like ReferralHero or customer referral links?
Different model. ReferLyst is built for list owners who already curate vendors — standing codes live on your public Lyst, not signup links your customers share. Businesses reward the curator, not a friend-of-a-friend chain.
Who creates the referral code?
Standing codes tie to your list (e.g. SARAH-STAGING). Businesses can set their suffix; you can rename the full code. One-time codes are optional for specific friends.
What do friends get?
Each business sets a friend perk — e.g. 10% off first visit. It shows on your vendor card next to the code.
How do businesses launch a program?
Claim a business profile, open Referrals → My business, enable your offer, set tiers, and appear in Discover when active.
Can I use both intros and referral codes?
Yes. Intros are warm handoffs through you. Codes are trackable perks when someone books. Both buttons stay on vendor cards.
