What is a Living Lyst?
Living Lysts are collaborative lists where contributors add without accounts, every item shows who posted, and the link is meant to travel.
A Living Lyst is a collaborative list on ReferLyst — you create it, share one link, and anyone can add notes, tasks, or ideas without signing up. Each contribution shows the person's name and timestamp. After someone adds, we nudge them to forward the same link so the next person can contribute too. The page banner shows how many people have built the Lyst.
- Templates: Shared notes, Plan together, To-dos, Pass-it-around circle, Fundraiser
- Contributors: open link → name once → post (no ReferLyst account)
- Safety: one-time attestation, ⋯ report menu, optional owner approval, auto-hide after flags
- Not a waitlist widget — for groups already coordinating (family, friends, roommates)
- Live demo: /family-shared-notes · Overview: /features/living-lysts
List owners manage safety from the dashboard: open posting or approve-first, review flagged items, remove posts, and block repeat offenders. Owners receive email and in-app notifications when content is reported.
